She walks through the various areas of theology drawing close attention to the God who is displayed in each aspect and how knowing Him and delighting in Him for being God brings about a life of worship. As one who loves making the connection between theology and my life, this book was a wonderful encouragement for me. It’s perfect for anyone wanting to catch a glimpse of God and how He makes a difference in our lives whether they are new theologians or whether they are seasoned. I was excited when I read the title of the book, and it did not disappoint, so if you are excited about the title- just wait until you read the words inside. This is a book that I expect to find myself pulling off the shelf and referencing often. Amy has written in a way that makes theology accessible to every reader, even if theology isn't their thing or if they think it is too hard. For those who do love theology, it's not over simplified, there are deep thoughts and concepts to mull over and learn about. I love that Amy has been so capably able to express what can be incredibly complicated theological ideas into layman's terms. Without the gatekeeping of fancy big words I now feel equipped to understand even more of the study of my God. Her book is easy to read, broken down well so that each topic builds on each other but also easy to pick up and out down with the distractions of life.
